Applying for a YouTube Rank ​

The YouTube rank grants content creators a special rank with all Legend rank perks, including custom nickname permissions. The YouTube rank also grants the permission to post NetherGames-related videos in the #media channel on our Discord server. We will review your content when applying to ensure your channel meets the requirements.

Steps to apply ​

You can apply for a YouTube rank by following these steps:

  1. Go to ngmc.co/request
  2. Login with your Microsoft (Xbox) account you use to play Minecraft with (if you're not already logged in)
  3. Select "Apply for YouTube"
  4. Follow the steps to link your Discord & YouTube account
  5. Fill out the details required to make the application

Once submitted, you will receive a response within 7 days to your email address registered on your Xbox account. You can also check the status of your application anytime by viewing your submissions at ngmc.co/request.

PLEASE NOTE

Do not message staff asking about the status of your application while it is still pending. If your application has passed 7 days without a response, please contact us through Modmail on our Discord server, or through livechat at the bottom of ngmc.co/request.

Requirements for YouTube rank ​

  • Your channel must have over 1,000 subscribers and produce NetherGames-related content, or;
  • Your channel must have over 5,000 subscribers and produce Bedrock-Edition-related content

 

  • Content must conform to our family-friendly guidelines
  • You need at least 20 videos uploaded on your channel
  • Your average view count must be at least 750
  • Your channel must follow YouTube's Terms of Service (by extension, you must be at least 13 years old)
  • Your channel must produce enough Bedrock-Edition-related content
  • Your videos must be reasonably recent uploads with a decent length

PLEASE NOTE

Please note YouTube channels that are predominantly focused on YouTube Shorts will not meet the requirements.

Your channel must continue to exist while you hold the rank, and your channel must produce Bedrock Edition content. You cannot apply for the rank, then delete your channel later and still keep the rank. YouTube ranks are issued and revoked at our discretion. You will get an email notification if your application status changes.
